Okay, after spending an entire year away, being notpink in other arenas, I just have to start blogging again. There is far too much bizarreness going on not to comment on it.
Maybe some notes on politics too. I'm not sure if that would be 'sports' or 'culture.' Of course in some places, viz. Denver, there is no difference between sports and culture. Witness Colorado Rockies nite at the symphony. I have a CSO hat made to look like a CR hat. I believe my date won it for guessing a 'name that tune' at the Colorado Symphony one New Year's Eve.
Anyhow CNN has "Ballot Bowl," how offensive is that. Yeah, the presidential race, let's party! Perhaps they should run sensitive human-interest stories about the candidates, the way the lucky Superbowl-carrying network crams the cables with stuff about the hard-luck childhoods of footballers.
